We meet at my office on 316 Main St., Polson to measure your head, and choose desired hat body, color, crown and brim shape, band, and any additional adornments.
I craft the hat. This will take several months. Between ordering the felt/straw, shaping, cutting, and adorning.
We meet again. This will be a short meeting so you can try the hat on again to make sure it fits. If everything looks good, you take the hat there. If not, I will take it back and make a few more adjustments and get it back to you.
Commonly asked questions
Meeting is preferred. Not all hat brands are sized the same. Not all heads are the same shape. If you can't meet, we can discuss the most accurate way to measure your head and go from there. With this method, there are no guarantees of perfect fit.
Hard to say. The good news is we can get you in an inexpensive custom shaped straw for less than $100, but a 100X beaver will cost well over a $1,000, and anywhere in between. Part of the meeting is to discuss your price range and see how your hat fits your budget.
The first half of the payment is due at the first meeting. The second half is due at the final pickup. Cash or Venmo.
